*Holland*, which had its premiere at SXSW, features Kidman in the role of a suspicious teacher who, alongside her friend played by Gael García Bernal, delves into the mysterious double life of her husband, portrayed by Matthew Macfadyen. The thriller, set in a quaint Midwestern town, promises to add a delightful dose of intrigue to her diverse portfolio. Meanwhile, she’ll also reprise her role as the enigmatic wellness guru Masha Dmitrichenko in the Hulu hit *Nine Perfect Strangers*, which is set to introduce a new cast of characters that includes Murray Bartlett and Christine Baranski.
But let’s not forget the icing on the cake: Kidman recently snagged the International Star Award at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival for her performance in *Babygirl*. Receiving the award from none other than Jamie Lee Curtis, Kidman gave an emotional tribute to her late mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, stating, “My whole career has been for my mom and my dad, who are not here now.” In that moment, the audience melted—because who doesn’t love a good tear-jerker?
