Zoe Saldana’s Twin Sons Spill the Tea on Their Mom’s Work!

OMG, you guys, I am SO here for this! Zoe Saldana’s 10-year-old twin sons, Cy and Bowie, are absolute cuties, and they just spilled the tea on their mom’s work in an exclusive E! News interview! I mean, can you even handle it? The twins, who joined their mom on the red carpet for the Elio premiere, couldn’t help but gush about their mom’s accomplishments. “We just want to say we’re really proud of our mom,” they said in unison. “For everything she’s done.”

Now, I know what you’re thinking – what do they know about their mom’s filmography? Well, let’s just say they don’t get to watch all her movies. “I’m not allowed to watch any of her movies,” one of the boys admitted, but they did get to see Zoe rock her Gamora green in Guardians of the Galaxy. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see that? The twins also praised their mom for teaching them that work is a part of life and that if you’re doing things that make you happy, you should share it with the people you love.

But here’s the thing – Zoe Saldana is still on cloud nine after her Best Supporting Actress win at the Oscars in March. “I’m having a hard time coming back to my body,” she admitted, “and allowing myself to believe that it actually happened.” I mean, can you blame her? She’s had an amazing year, and her sons are clearly her biggest fans.

And let’s talk about Zoe’s approach to work and parenting. She previously told E! News that she’s replaced the phrase “I have to go to work” with “I want to go to work.” I mean, what a great way to look at it! “I just feel like it teaches them that work is a part of life,” she said. “and that if you’re doing things that make you happy, all you have to do is just share it with the people that you love around you.”

Now, I know some of you might be thinking, what about her other kids? Well, Zoe has three sons in total – Cy, Bowie, and Zen – and they all seem to be her biggest supporters. In fact, she previously said that she couldn’t wait to get back to her boys at the end of awards season. “I would want them to finish this school year with their Mama by their side because they are so resilient and they’ve been, you know, backing me up, along with my husband this entire campaign,” she told E! News in March. “But I miss my children like I miss air, like I miss water.”
