According to an interview published by People on August 7, Jonathan admitted, “We’ve just been having so much fun traveling with the kids and filming this show and stuff. So no, we have not actually made any plans yet.” That statement alone sets the tone for a couple who are redefining what engagement means in modern celebrity culture.
The pair began dating in late 2019 after meeting on Carpool Karaoke, quickly going Instagram official with their Halloween Horror Nights adventure at Universal Studios. Zooey, who shares daughter Elsie, 10, and son Charlie, 8, with ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, proved the perfect date for Jonathan’s brother’s spooky wedding.
