The twins were supposed to board a flight to Boston on March 7 but were found dead the next day, their plane tickets still in their wallets. How they ended up on Bell Mountain, a place they reportedly had no connection to, remains a mystery. The GBI has completed autopsies but is awaiting additional forensic tests before releasing an official ruling.
Meanwhile, the family has launched a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses, using the platform to push back against the murder-suicide narrative. “My nephews wouldn’t do this,” Yasmine wrote. “They came from a family of love, and twins wanted so much for their future.”
As for Kerlin, his alleged actions add another layer of distress to an already heartbreaking case. Leaking photos from a death scene isn’t just unethical—it’s a violation of the trust placed in first responders. The GBI’s investigation into the twins’ deaths continues, but one thing is clear: this case is far from over.
