Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Stanley Cup Showdown: A Love Story in the Making?
It seems like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are taking their whirlwind romance to the next level – or at least to the next sporting event. The singer and the football star were spotted attending Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Because what’s a better way to get to know each other than in a crowded arena with screaming fans and overpriced concessions?
As they walked the halls together, Travis was decked out in red, while Taylor looked angelic in a cream-colored outfit. They were holding hands, and Taylor was flashing a big grin while a cheering crowd of onlookers stood by and watched her walk past. One can only assume they’re trying to blend in – or not, considering Taylor’s flashing a giant smile and waving to the crowd like a celebrity. I mean, who needs subtlety when you’re Taylor Swift?
The two were enjoying the action on the ice and taking a few moments to check something out together on Kelce’s phone – with Taylor seeming really invested in whatever he had to show her. And, as always, Taylor took a whole lotta eyes away from the game’s action – with the broadcast cutting to the happy couple for their reaction after the Panthers scored the first goal of the game. Because who needs hockey when you have Taylor Swift?
This isn’t their first public appearance together, either. We obtained photos of Taylor and Travis together at a backyard wedding in Tennessee last week – fitting in with the crowd and sharing some laughs with members of his family. From “I dos” to icy dustups, it looks like Taylor and Travis are hitting all the major events they can before the next NFL season kicks off in a few short months! One can only assume they’re trying to cram in as many romantic gestures as possible before Travis has to go back to, you know, playing football.
As the summer heats up, Taylor and Travis are certainly making the most of their time together. And who can blame them? It’s not every day you get to date a global superstar and a professional athlete. Although, let’s be real, it’s probably not all fun and games – especially when you’re dealing with the paparazzi and screaming fans. But hey, at least they’re getting some quality time in before the chaos begins.
