Surf’s Up, Alarm Down: Lynch & Rollins’ Beach House Burglarized

Surf’s Up, Alarm Down: Lynch & Rollins’ Beach House Burglarized
  • PublishedJuly 8, 2025

Check it out—apparently, empty beach houses belonging to Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch make irresistible punching bags for late-night intruders. According to TMZ Sports, the WWE’s golden couple came home to a messy plot twist this week when their Playa Del Rey pad was hit at around 3 AM on July 8, 2025. That’s right, just hours after Lynch and Rollins wrapped up a Monday Night RAW gig at Providence’s Amica Mutual Pavilion, opportunistic thieves decided to give their place a once-over.

Sources tell us the thieves pried open a side door, ransacked the living room and bedrooms, and then disappeared into the night without a trace—apart from some missing electronics and personal items no one has officially detailed. Cops confirm no one was inside, which is a small mercy given the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Roux, lives there half the time. There’s no word yet on suspects or arrests, and the investigation remains as open as a championship belt challenge.

Becky Lynch, who began dating Rollins in 2019 and married him in 2021 after welcoming Roux in 2020, has been pretty open about life at the beach house. She even posted a living-room selfie on Instagram just last month, presumably oblivious to the fact it was also a free real-time tour for anyone with a crowbar. Of course, social media commentary is already buzzing with fans questioning home security protocols and joking that maybe WWE should introduce a “beach-house protection” match stipulation. Spoiler alert: that’s not how insurance works.

To be fair, burglary at beachfront properties isn’t exactly front-page news—unless your job is wrestling world titles and fan selfies. Yet the irony of this crime wave hitting two of pro wrestling’s busiest stars is hard to ignore. They jet from city to city, body-slamming opponents by night and supposedly locking down their own sanctuary by day. Apparently, someone forgot to check the back door.

Law enforcement sources say they’re canvassing neighbors, checking surveillance cameras from nearby homes, and scouring pawn shops for any of the stolen gear. Meanwhile, Rollins and Lynch haven’t released an official statement, presumably because they’re more focused on headlines like “who will face Judgement Day at SummerSlam” than “who’s coming up next in the burglary bracket.”

Whether this ends with arrests, recovered goods, or just a stern reminder to us all about home security remains to be seen. So there you have it—a celebrity break-in with all the intrigue of a midcard storyline. You’re welcome.
