Scheana Shay Memoir Exposes Brock Davies Pregnancy Affair

Scheana Shay Memoir Exposes Brock Davies Pregnancy Affair
  • PublishedJuly 25, 2025

Jaden Patel here. Because nothing screams a glowing romantic memoir like admitting your spouse was cheating on you while you were nine months along.

Scheana Shay and her husband Brock Davies have finally unpacked every uncomfortable detail of his 2020 extramarital fling, which took place just as their daughter Summer Moon was about to make her debut. In her new memoir, My Good Side, the Vanderpump Rules alum refers to Davies’s misconduct as “a sexual affair,” a phrase he confirmed during the July 25 episode of her Scheananigans podcast. Davies admits that there was no dating, no romance, just multiple clandestine meet-ups over a three-week stretch. “I minimized what it was,” he confessed, and then promptly “pulled the pin” on the relationship.

Scheana first learned of the betrayal amid the media cyclone dubbed “Scandoval,” when rumors about Vanderpump Rules alumni were swirling non-stop. Davies admits he wrote his confession in a letter after a pep talk at the gym, convinced that honesty would keep the story buried forever. He told Scheana that he believed he would never slip again. Hint: he was wrong. He kept the secret under wraps until the memoir’s release nearly three years later.

When asked why the affair even happened, Davies cited a fear of adding another child to the family. As a father of two—Eli and Winter—from a prior marriage in Australia, he claims to have been consumed by doubts about his parenting abilities. “I believed I was a bad dad,” he admitted. Instead of seeking help, he says he took “the easy way out” by looking elsewhere for validation—a move he now calls cowardly. He acknowledges that he was protecting his own reputation, not their marriage.

Throughout this reckoning, Davies consistently praised Scheana’s agency in sharing the betrayal. He told her, “I’m proud of you for telling your story, and I’m sorry for this being part of your story.” He also insisted he would avoid influencing her memoir’s final cut, positioning himself solely to face the consequences. Scheana, for her part, believes omitting this seismic event would have felt dishonest. “This story isn’t a stunt,” she writes. “It’s not to sell books. It’s our real story.”

This chapter of their lives arrives alongside a flashback in the memoir in which Scheana reveals she once had a “weekly booty call” with Eddie Cibrian—yes, the actor who was secretly married at the time. She describes assuming he was single because he never wore a ring. When someone finally clued her in that he had vowed eternal love to someone else, denial was her first defense: “We were out all the time, so I just didn’t want to believe it,” she admits.

With this level of transparency, the couple seems committed to exposing every skeleton in their closet. Whether this candor will heal old wounds or just keep the gossip mill churning is anyone’s guess. Tune in next time for more revelations that redefine “what not to do” when negotiating trust.
