Robert Pattinson: Diaper-Duty Dynamo and Proud Papa!
Who knew the brooding Batman had a knack for diaper duty? Robert Pattinson, fresh off the excitement of his new movie *Mickey 17*, has revealed a surprising new talent—he’s become an expert at changing his daughter’s diapers! The 38-year-old actor shared his newfound skill with *Extra*, claiming he’s mastered the art of “stealth nappy” changes. “The baby doesn’t even know they’ve had their nappy changed,” he quipped, proving that even Hollywood A-listers have to deal with the not-so-glamorous side of parenting.
Pattinson and his longtime girlfriend, actress and singer Suki Waterhouse, welcomed their first child—a daughter—in March 2024, and from the sound of it, they’ve hit the parenting jackpot. The doting dad couldn’t help but brag a little at the London premiere of *Mickey 17*, sharing, “I hate boasting about it, but my daughter’s been, like, the most incredible sleeper since birth.” Talk about winning the parent lottery!
Waterhouse, 33, couldn’t be more supportive. At the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2024, she raved about Pattinson’s enthusiasm for diaper changes, exclaiming, “He thinks it’s fun!” The singer has previously opened up about their relationship, reinforcing just how close they are after nearly five years together: “I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone … I find him hilarious!”
Pattinson even took it a step further in a January interview with *Vogue*, confessing an unexpected joy in the unique scent of their baby. “I remember people used to say they loved the smell of babies, but then I had a baby, and I was like, ‘My baby smells incredible,’” he reflected. Clearly, all those sleep-deprived moments are worth it when you’re getting fuzzy hugs from your cutie pie!
With Pattinson tackling parenting like a bat outta hell, it seems he may have some competition for the title of Hollywood’s favorite dad.
