Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Channels Hulk Hogan with Real American Beer NASCAR Livery

Hi, I’m Riley Carter. Okay, but like… why is this next-level homage happening?
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is rolling into Watkins Glen this Sunday with a bold tribute to wrestling icon Hulk Hogan on his No. 47 Chevrolet. The Hyak Motorsports driver and his team are reviving the red, white and blue Real American Beer paint scheme that first debuted in June, this time complete with a “HULKAMANIA Forever” decal featuring an image of Hogan ripping his shirt off. Per TMZ Sports, the tribute will hit the track during Sunday’s Go Bowling at the Glen Cup Series event in Watkins Glen, New York.
Stenhouse Jr. and Hyak Motorsports originally unveiled the Real American Beer branding earlier in the season when Hogan was still with us, marking a partnership that blended motorsport passion and wrestling theatrics. After Hogan’s passing, the team decided to honor his memory by reintroducing the iconic livery for this weekend’s race. Racing, as Hogan often said, was “core to the brand’s identity,” notes Real American Beer co-founder Chad Bronstein. In his statement to TMZ Sports, Bronstein praised Hulk’s commitment to strength, pride and resilience, whether in the ring, for his fans or in his communities.
So why Watkins Glen? Known for its challenging road course and scenic backdrop, the venue has hosted some of NASCAR’s most memorable moments. Stenhouse Jr. plans to capitalize on the track’s prestige and high-profile status to spotlight Hulk’s legacy and the Real American Beer brand. The car’s refreshed livery is expected to turn heads both on pit road and during the 90-lap, 220-mile sprint around the Finger Lakes circuit.
Technically, this tribute doubles as a marketing play for Real American Beer, which Hulk Hogan co-founded to commemorate his wrestling career. Fans who remember those late 80s and early 90s wrestling peaks will likely chuckle at seeing the Hulkamania logo roaring past Turn 1. It also cements Stenhouse Jr.’s reputation for unconventional paint schemes; he’s no stranger to quirky designs, from classic movie themes to pop culture nods.
If you’re tuning in, USA Network will broadcast the action starting at 2 PM ET. Expect close-ups of the decal during pit stops and plenty of social media snapshots as influencers and race fans alike spot the tribute. Will Hulkamania give Stenhouse Jr. an extra boost of speed or just a photo op? Stay tuned.
Anyway, that’s the deal. Do with it what you will.
