My Chemical Romance Last-Minute MetLife Ticket Prices Exposed

My Chemical Romance Last-Minute MetLife Ticket Prices Exposed
  • PublishedAugust 4, 2025

Another overpriced ticket saga unfolds as the emo legends touch down at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium on Saturday, August 9. In case you missed the memo, My Chemical Romance will headline the one-off “Long Live The Black Parade North American Tour” stop, flanked by Death Cab For Cutie and Thursday. At the time of publication, the cheapest seats on the secondary market clock in at a jaw-dropping $260 including fees via Vivid Seats. If you’re feeling particularly masochistic, floor seats start at a not-so-modest $568 including fees. All figures were confirmed with Vivid Seats’ guaranteed pricing and checked against Face Value guidelines.

Want proof that they actually play full albums on this tour? According to Setlist FM, Gerard Way and co. have been delivering roughly 25 tracks per show. Their Globe Life Field performance in Arlington opened with the entire 14-track The Black Parade album, then shifted into fan favorites like Na Na Na, I’m Not Okay (I Promise) and Helena, capped off by a surprise Smashing Pumpkins cover. No guesswork needed here – Setlist FM’s detailed archives show this pattern repeating night after night.

Critics aren’t sleeping either. The Dallas Observer’s recent Arlington review paints a grim picture of the band’s dystopian stage narrative. Instead of directly reenacting The Black Parade story of a dying man, they’ve concocted a fictional hellscape called Draag to lampoon authoritarianism. Video interludes feature a “Great Immortal Dictator” reminiscent of a John Waters character with a pencil mustache and cowboy hat, presiding over chaos and pyrotechnics. Brutal, theatrical and undeniably MCR.

Can’t make the MetLife date? The emo heroes will hit Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on August 15, Toronto’s Rogers Centre on August 22 and Boston’s Fenway Park on September 7. Then comes the grand finale at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival from September 19-21, rubbing elbows with Blink-182, Deftones, Weird Al, Sublime, The Black Keys, Vampire Weekend, Lucy Dacus and 4 Non Blondes. Single-day and multi-day festival passes are floating around on the usual ticket platforms, though the prices are trending north thanks to that festival premium.

If your wallet is still trembling, remember prices are fluid and subject to change without warning. This isn’t a charity event, folks. But if you’re hell-bent on witnessing Gerard Way leading thousands through a nihilistic parade, be prepared to fork over hundreds. That’s the long and short of it. No sugarcoating here—just the hard numbers and what to expect when you squeeze into MetLife Stadium.

And now you know. Don’t say I didn’t warn you about the sticker shock.
