Mikayla Nogueira Breaks Down Her “Natural” 60-Pound Slimdown

Mikayla Nogueira Breaks Down Her “Natural” 60-Pound Slimdown
  • PublishedJuly 29, 2025

Kai Montgomery here, and I suppose I have to tell you about yet another “groundbreaking” celeb revelation. So, Mikayla Nogueira, TikTok’s makeup maestro, has finally decided to address the chatter around her 60-pound drop. You know, because the internet can’t leave well enough alone.

In a July 29 TikTok video, Nogueira insisted that her transformation was “naturally” achieved, with heavy focus on a calorie deficit and smarter food choices. Yes, you read that correctly. No magic potion, no quick-fix injection, just plain old diet adjustments. “Heavy emphasis on the ‘naturally,’” she pointed out, rolling out the details like we all asked for them.

To prove she’s not just lip service, Nogueira showcased her favorite meal hack: a burger bowl. She layered lettuce, tomato, croutons, pickles, cheese, and seasoned hamburger, then drizzled ketchup and mustard on top. Apparently, it’s “extremely delicious and filling,” and even her husband, Cody Hawken, is on board. Trust me, if your spouse approves, it must be a cheat code to culinary bliss.

The weight loss ripple effects didn’t stop at her waistline. Fashion choices shifted, makeup routines tweaked, and yes, her wedding rings are now comically oversized. In a January TikTok, she demonstrated how her bands slip and slide because of the 60-pound change, joking that she either needs a resize or a replacement. Cue the dramatic sighs.

As a side note, Mikayla has a “C” tattoo on her finger to honor Cody, but she admits the design is subpar and plans to fix it. At least one thing on her body still needs fine-tuning.

Of course, she’s not the only star shedding pounds lately. Tammy Slaton from TLC’s 1,000-Lb. Sisters revealed she’s lost roughly 462 pounds since her 2022 bariatric surgery. Her doctor, Dr. Eric Smith, told People Magazine that Tammy’s commitment to sustainable habits has been key to her success. Meanwhile, country-rap artist Jelly Roll, born Jason DeFord, has gone from 540 pounds to 357. On ESPN host Pat McAfee’s Big Night Aht live show, he announced plans to drop another 100 pounds before skydiving in Sweden with his wife.

Jelly Roll credited a mental overhaul for tackling his weight demons, reminding us that obesity and mental health are entwined. He told Jay Shetty on On Purpose that he had to reframe his relationship with food instead of just “quitting eatin’ so much.”

So, there you have it. Mikayla’s calorie counting and burger bowls, Tammy’s surgical boost plus daily grind, and Jelly Roll’s mindset makeover. Everyone’s got their own path to pound loss, and none of it sounds nearly as glamorous as we pretend it is.

And there you thought glow-ups were all about fancy supplements and secret serums. See, human effort still matters. Who would’ve guessed?
