MGK Admits Megan Fox Bars Him from Babysitting Baby Saga

Machine Gun Kelly revealed on the August 4 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he and Pete Davidson might never be trusted to babysit baby Saga by Megan Fox and Elsie Hewitt.

Another day, another Hollywood parenting chat that is almost too wholesome to handle.

During his conversation with Jimmy Fallon, MGK (real name Colson Baker) admitted he and his best friend Pete Davidson have fantasized about pushing their kids around in matching strollers. However, he doubts the moms will ever sign off on their supposed “expert” skills. It seems that Megan Fox and Elsie Hewitt are already planning to keep the duo on a strict babysitting probation.

He joked that both moms would worry they’d be helpless at diaper duty. “They would look at us and think, ‘What do we do?’ and somehow the diapers end up on our heads or something,” he quipped, highlighting the playful mistrust that comes when rock stars and Saturday Night Live alums try to tackle real childcare.

MGK also let slip that Pete is already scripting comedy bits for little Saga. Davidson apparently told him, “If she ever plays sports, I’m going to shout at the opposing team, ‘The Saga continues!’” The name itself holds significance. In a June interview with Today, MGK explained that Saga was chosen because “she is an epic story,” turning a baby name into a mission statement.

Fatherhood has its own naming battles. MGK revealed he was outvoted on monikers for his first daughter, Casie, whom he shares with ex Emma Cannon. He laughs about pitching the name Kid when Casie turned 18. “If her name was Kid, that would be sick,” he admitted, but acknowledges why his ex said, “Hey man, shut up.”

Parenting fever is high across Hollywood this summer. Calvin Harris and Vick Hope welcomed son Micah on July 20, with Harris calling his wife “a superhero.” A major influencer and her rapper partner had daughter Eloísa on July 26. YouTuber Trisha Paytas and Moses Hacmon introduced Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon on July 12. NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco celebrated the arrival of Wolf Monte Valderrama on July 11. Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck’s third child, Penelope, arrived in early July. NFL icon Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Tebow shared news of their first daughter on July 6. Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross and Aaron Ross welcomed a son this July. Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle announced baby daughter Teddi in June.

With so many A-list families growing, MGK and Davidson’s friendly rivalry is one of the cutest side plots in celebrity parenting. Fans on social media are already creating memes about stroller strolls gone wrong and plotting the ultimate playdate. From punk rock tours to diapers, this duo proves that star power and real life baby duties can collide in the sweetest way possible.

Anyway, that’s the tea. Use it wisely.
