Mandy Moore Flaunts Three Kids on Sun-Soaked Mexican Getaway

Mandy Moore Flaunts Three Kids on Sun-Soaked Mexican Getaway
  • PublishedJuly 31, 2025

I’m Kai Montgomery, your grumpy guru reluctantly offering a glimpse into Mandy Moore’s latest family adventure. Oh, great—another celebrity vacation reveal. Here we go.

Mandy Moore, 41, decided to prove that life goes on after disaster by posting a vibrant family photo from Punta Mita, Mexico. In her July 31 Instagram update, the This Is Us alum sat in the surf with husband Taylor Goldsmith, 39, and their three little whirlwinds: August “Gus,” 4, Oscar “Ozzie,” 2, and Louise, 10 months. The snapshot shows sandy toes, sunlit smiles, and scenic rocky shores that scream “wish you were here,” minus the fact that most of us are, well, not here.

The post did not stop at a single frame. Moore also treated followers to candid shots of her brood splashing in gentle waves, devouring tacos and guacamole, and socializing with friends like cookbook author Gaby Dalkin. Apparently, nothing cures the meltdown of parenting toddlers better than fresh ceviche and good company. Moore captioned the post, “Nothing beats a beach vacation with some of your besties. What an epic few days, @fspuntamita! We can’t wait to come back (Gus hasn’t stopped talking about it)!!”

If you’re keeping score, this tropical detour comes on the heels of a heartbreaking January ordeal: Moore’s Altadena home went up in flames during the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. As reported by E! Online, she shared raw footage of buildings ablaze and wrote, “I love you, Altadena. Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets).”

The actress did not sugarcoat the community toll. “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family,” she admitted. “My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too.” Moore gave shout-outs to Hilary Duff, who opened her home in that crisis, and to firefighters battling the blaze. Her message was equal parts grief and resolve: “Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together. Sending love to all affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control.”

Now, just months later, Moore’s feed is awash with sun and surf rather than ash and sirens. The contrast is almost too neat—like watching your favorite drama character survive the worst only to pop up sipping margaritas in the finale. But credit where it’s due: they faced loss and came out smiling for the camera.

So here you have it: celebrities can lose everything and then go chase beachfront bliss. Did we need proof? Probably not. Did we get it anyway? Absolutely. Feel free to scroll on, but remember—your neighbor’s beach photos will never look this curated.

Well, play nice and hold on to that SPF. Over and out.
