Madeleine White’s Santorini Dress Extravaganza

Madeleine White’s Santorini Dress Extravaganza
  • PublishedJuly 15, 2025

So here we are with a TikTok star turning her big day into a full-blown fashion saga. Influencer Madeleine White, known for her DIY fashion hacks and 5 million followers on TikTok, said “I do” to DJ Andrew Fedyk on July 12 in Santorini, Greece, wearing a custom Viktor & Rolf gown she first spotted on her For You page nearly three years ago. Pulled straight from the Dutch label’s Spring 2023 bridal collection, the strapless ivory dress was enhanced with forty hand-appliquéd butterflies as a sweet nod to Madeleine’s longtime obsession with the delicate creatures.

Madeleine recalled in a Vogue interview published July 15 that the moment she tried on the gown, she “put it on my body and knew it was my dress.” That first look was just the opening act. After a sunset ceremony overlooking the Aegean Sea, the 29-year-old bride slipped into a backless halter dress by Berta for the reception, where friends and family danced along to a surprise set from Natasha Bedingfield. The third and final wardrobe reveal came at a nearby beach after-party, where she stunned in a pink chain-mail mini from the Versace x Fendi 2022 collaboration.

The entire event was sprinkled with personal flourishes that balanced high-end fashion with playful tributes. To honor Andrew’s Canadian roots, guests feasted on poutine—those indulgent fries with gravy and cheese curds—as well as pizza and doughnuts. Even though Madeleine joked to E! News that she’d be outsourcing her wedding attire to big-name designers, she did channel her signature DIY spirit into the bridesmaids’ looks. Each of the five baby-blue dresses was handcrafted and hand-embellished by Madeleine herself at an average of 30 hours per gown. She told Vogue that the effort was worth it, since the dresses “looked beyond stunning” and offered her squad a unique keepsake.

Madeleine and Andrew first met through a mutual friend in July 2020, and after three years of dating, he popped the question at Toronto’s historic Casa Loma. The moment was Instagram-worthy but not a total surprise—Madeleine had made Andrew promise at least an hour’s notice so she could plan the perfect engagement outfit. The proposal set the stage for a wedding as stylish as her viral fashion videos.

With a ceremony that fused designer couture and homemade flair, this influencer’s nuptials checked all the boxes for a next-level celebration. From butterflies on her gown to chain-mail on the dance floor, Madeleine White proved that she can break the internet—and maybe even wedding fashion rules—without breaking a sweat. Anyway, that’s the deal. Do with it what you will.
