Khloe Kardashian’s Structured Family Life with True and Tatum

Khloe Kardashian’s Structured Family Life with True and Tatum
  • PublishedJuly 28, 2025

Khloe Kardashian marked son Tatum Thompson’s third birthday on July 28 with a heartfelt Instagram tribute and a dinosaur-themed party last year.

Kai Montgomery here, and I don’t want to be the one to say it, but celebrity parenthood is basically an event production with diapers. Strap in – this is your grumpy guru’s takeover of Khloe’s kid chronicles.

Let’s start with Tatum, the toddler who turned three this summer. Khloe and ex Tristan Thompson welcomed him in 2021, and she celebrated his second birthday with a dinosaur extravaganza. In an Instagram post dated July 28, Khloe raved, “I am so proud to be your mommy,” praising his “beautiful, gentle, polite, intelligent, loving, infectious spirit.” That tribute gave us all the warm fuzzies and reminded fans she’s mastering motherhood one themed cake at a time (E! News, Instagram).

Then there’s True Thompson, Khloe’s firstborn with Tristan. The little diva hit seven this year and received a Rainbow Friends fete, complete with pastel balloons and sugar overload. A year earlier, True enjoyed a cat-themed celebration that perfectly matched the arrival of her new kitty, Baby Kitty. Khloe’s Instagram love note for her daughter’s sixth birthday read, “I was destined to be your mommy,” adding that True saved her without even knowing it (E! News, Instagram).

Kids don’t stay little, though, and Khloe knows it. Tatum, who looks uncannily like his uncle Rob Kardashian, has started stringing together new words and toddling around like a mini executive. True, now in first grade, has taken the stage in dance recitals and tackled homework while her mom secretly admits on Snapchat that sending her off to school feels bittersweet. Khloe confessed she feels “not OK” about losing the little versions of her daughter as she grows (E! News).

On the family front, Khloe’s brood mingles with cousins Dream and Saint during holidays and vacations. She’s pointed out that her kids are besties with Dream Kardashian and share an inexplicable bond with Kim’s son, Saint West. Yet even with all that cousin love, Khloe sticks to her guns: a rock-solid schedule. Bath time, pajamas, TV with mom – it’s a plan that keeps tantrums low and security high.

In a 2024 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Khloe defended her routine. She explained that while each sister runs her household differently, she refuses to let relatives dictate her style. “If everyone is healthy, happy and great, then wonderful,” she said, “but my kids do love the security of knowing what comes next.”

So there you have it – Khloe’s kids in a neatly wrapped, color-coordinated package. Parenting in Hollywood never looked so scheduled.

Did Khloe really need a bedtime chart this detailed? Probably. Now excuse me while I go rework my own nap time to match a dinosaur theme.
