Khloe and Kris Kardashian Trade Places in Freakier Friday Parody

Oh great, the Kardashians have morphed into a Freakier Friday spoof because nothing says groundbreaking like a mother-daughter body swap guaranteed to make you groan. On August 1, Khloe Kardashian and matriarch Kris Jenner unveiled a short parody video riffing on the Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis sequel Freakier Friday. Instead of heartfelt lessons about empathy, we get wig switches and snarky quips proving that Kardashians do every stunt bigger, louder and with more product placement potential.
In the clip Khloe wakes up in her mom’s 69-year-old body and exclaims that her skin is inexplicably softer. Kris, now stuck in Khloe’s 41-year-old frame, deadpans that the secret is “salmon sperm.” Naturally, they argue about who’s to blame before Kris-as-Khloe suggests there might be a deeper lesson in this whole ordeal. She jokes that if she wanted to prank Khloe, she would have put her in Scott Disick’s body instead. Because apparently that twist would be even more excruciating.
Costume-wise they swapped wigs: Khloe adopted her mother’s signature raven-colored bob while Kris sported a long brunette ’do that Khloe herself would approve of. To drive the parody home, Jamie Lee Curtis pops in with a cameo question that feels like an ego check: “So, who do we think has more to learn in this situation?” If only the Kardashians had paused to ask themselves that before the third lip kit release deadline.
Khloe later shared an Instagram peek behind the scenes, pouring herself a drink in full Kris Jenner mode while channeling Momager’s famous lament: I am absolutely, mentally, spiritually, physically tired. It’s just exhausting. Then she topped it with, “Definitely a martini night—maybe three,” captioning the footage with a blunt admission that it’s exhausting being Kris Jenner. And yes, the buzzword for body-swappers everywhere is now exhaustion.
This exercise in self parody isn’t new territory for Khloe. Back in 2022, she and her sisters hosted a Kris Jenner-themed costume party for Mom’s 67th birthday. Khloe went platinum blond, Kourtney channeled Kris in an Ariana Grande video look, Kim nailed a green sequined Christmas card outfit and even North West joined the fun in a pixie cut wig. If turning their own mother into a Halloween costume doesn’t scream family bonding, what does?
So there you have it: a Kardashian spin on Freakier Friday complete with wig swaps, witty one-liners and a celebrity cameo. If you were hoping for a profound lesson on walking in someone else’s shoes, you might be left wanting. But hey, at least it’s entertaining enough to distract you from your own life for a minute.
