Justin Bieber Fires Back at Haters with Emotional New Music

Justin Bieber has responded to public scrutiny about his health on his surprise new album Swag II, which dropped on September 5. The 31-year-old singer tackled the recent speculation around his mental and physical health on the album’s opening track “Speed Demon.” In the song, Justin sings, “They try to say I’m out of my mind / But now they singing every line.” He also seems to credit his wife Hailey Bieber for being a positive influence in his life and helping him work on himself.

On the track, Justin goes on to say, “I got a lot of mountains to climb / Had to leave some beggars behind.” He also sings about Hailey, “And there’s something that’s stronger than me / That’s paving me a new lane and giving me an energy.” Justin continues, “And there’s something in the way she made me certain I’m enough / Everyday she put the loving on me / And all the people that be doubting on me / They gave me witness my redemption, now they up on my seat.”

The “Boyfriend” hitmaker also made several nods to his wife of nearly seven years on the album. On the track “I Think You’re Special,” Justin sings, “Ain’t no other love like this / it’s the reason you exist.” He adds later, “I just been a lover ever since I let you in / all of us together, I’m in heaven.” Their son Jack Blues Bieber, 12 months, also got a shoutout on the track “Mother In You,” on which Justin proclaims his absolute devotion to his young child.

Justin has also seemingly been leaning on his faith for guidance in recent months. In July, he wrote on social media, “Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning. I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me.” Alongside pictures of himself smiling while hiking in the woods, Justin added an optimistic message to fans, saying, “Let’s have a good day, let’s go outside. Get in nature.”

The Biebers have been making headlines recently, and it’s not hard to see why. In April 2025, Hailey shared a mirror selfie wearing a new leather jacket that she was designing to support Justin’s new clothing brand Skylrk.
