Inside Duck Dynasty: The Growing Robertson Family Empire

Sage Matthews here, charting the Robertson dynasty with precision and flair.
Duck Dynasty’s revival on A&E picks up eight years after the original series and prior to Phil Robertson’s passing, bringing the expansive Robertson clan back into the spotlight. While Willie Robertson and wife Korie return to the Duck Commander headquarters—now a hub for hunting gear, media projects and family ventures—brothers Jase and Jep Robertson opted out of season one, leaving room for new faces to quack alongside veteran relatives.
Willie Robertson, who has led Duck Commander since 2002, describes the family’s current pace as “fully semi-retiring.” The CEO and his wife Korie have welcomed eight grandchildren so far, and their daughter Sadie Robertson Huff, now 28, is expecting her third child. Sadie and husband Christian Huff already share daughters Honey James, age four, and Haven Belle, age two. Talking to Taste of Country in May, Sadie explained that Duck Commander is no longer just a hunting and recreation store; it acts as the nerve center for her podcast studio and Korie’s production company. “It’s a whole new generation,” she said, pointing to “new businesses, new ministries, new opportunities.”
Meanwhile, Jase and Jep Robertson may have skipped filming, but their branches of the family tree are flourishing off-camera. Jase and wife Missy, married since 1990, are parents to Reed, Cole and Mia Robertson. Reed and wife Brighton have three young children, while Cole celebrated his engagement to Emily Hamn in March 2025. Jep and Jessica Robertson welcomed daughter Lily’s son Winston five months ago, and they are gearing up for even more arrivals. Merritt, their second-eldest, is due in December with Tyler Metro, and 18-year-old Priscilla announced on Instagram July 20 that she is expecting a girl. Jessica quipped, “Pray for us! 3 babies under 1!”
Patriarch Phil Robertson and wife Miss Kay shared a marriage lasting 59 years before Phil’s passing on May 25, 2025, at age 79, after battling Alzheimer’s disease. The Duck Commander founder and his wife raised four sons—Alan, Jase, Willie and Jep—and Phil also had a daughter, Phyllis, from an earlier affair. Korie Robertson admitted in a show confessional that Phil’s diagnosis was “a struggle for all of us,” and that it drove Willie to consider his own legacy more deeply as production began on Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
Uncle Si—Silas Robertson—remains a fixture in Willie’s succession plan, though he jokingly reminds his nephew that he’s “way too young” to step down. As the camera pans across Louisiana’s bayous this season, viewers will see a family grounded in faith, commerce and duck calls, even as the next generation stakes its claim on the family empire.
That’s the latest on the ever-expanding Robertson brood—expect feathers to fly as these cousins, siblings and grandkids carve new chapters in the Duck Dynasty legacy. On to the next call.
