Hayley Kiyoko Proposes to Becca Tilley After Seven-Year Romance

Hayley Kiyoko Proposes to Becca Tilley After Seven-Year Romance
  • PublishedJuly 10, 2025

Look, I don’t want to break any hearts here, but apparently Hayley Kiyoko really did decide to make things official with Bachelor alum Becca Tilley after seven years of dating. The singer-songwriter, 34, spilled the engagement tea on Instagram July 10, captioning her post, “My dream girl said yes to forever…,” and blessing us with a mini travelogue of that oh-so-romantic Mallorca proposal. First comes the picturesque waterfront shot—Kiyoko down on one knee—then a close-up of a radiant-cut bauble courtesy of Ring Concierge, and finally a gleeful cannonball leap into the Mediterranean once Becca accepted.

Becca, 36, didn’t exactly play coy either—she reshared the proof on her own Story with the earth-shattering commentary, “Easiest yes I’ve ever said.” Bachelor Nation promptly lost its collective mind: Ashley Iaconetti gushed “AAAAAWWHHHHHHHHHHYH congratulations! I knew this was the next wedding! Love you both,” while JoJo Fletcher chimed in, “My girls! I love y’all so much and cannot wait to see this beautiful next chapter unfold for the two of you!!” Kaitlyn Bristowe echoed the sentiment, praising them as “One of the most beautiful couples inside and out.”

Of course, they’ve been sneaking around in plain sight since 2018, two years after Becca’s final Bachelor appearance—but kept things hush-hush until May 2022. In a May 2024 Made It Out podcast, Becca admitted she needed time to process coming out and blending her Bachelor fame with Kiyoko’s pop-star platform. “I never could’ve predicted the support and love that we’ve gotten,” she sighed, which, surprise, surprise, actually materialized once they went public.

If your soul craves more headline-grabbing engagements, here’s the roundup: Entourage alum Kevin Connolly proposed to Zulay Henao on Long Island’s Fourth of July, Kelly Osbourne got ringed by Slipknot’s Sid Wilson during Ozzy’s last Black Sabbath show, former Bachelorette contestant Peter Kraus put a ring on Hana Ostapchuk, Big Time Rush’s James Maslow popped the question to Caitlin Spears, Vampire Diaries star Candice King said yes to Originals actor Steven Krueger, TLC’s Amy Slaton got engaged inside a haunted house, and Marvel’s Simu Liu sealed the deal with Allison Hsu.

Did anyone expect a different outcome from this over-the-top celeb spectacle? No? Thought so. And that, dear reader, is why we can’t have nice things.
