Gilmore Girls Reunion: Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham to Present at 2025 Emmy Awards
  • PublishedSeptember 9, 2025

Hello there, I’m Jordan Collins, your go-to guide for all things celebrity gossip. I suppose it’s time for me to fill you in on the latest scoop. You probably should already know this, but here we go: Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham, the dynamic duo from Gilmore Girls, are reuniting at the 2025 Emmy Awards.

The 2025 Emmy Awards, hosted by Nate Bargatze, are set to take place on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. In a delightful twist, Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham, who played the iconic mother-daughter duo Rory and Lorelai Gilmore, will be presenting at the ceremony. This reunion comes nearly a decade after the Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life aired in 2016.

Their last public appearance together was nine years ago, and since then, they have maintained a strong bond. Lauren Graham has often spoken about the instant chemistry she shared with Alexis Bledel when they first met at the table read for Gilmore Girls. In an interview on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, Graham revealed that despite their contrasting energies, they quickly became close.

Graham described Bledel as a “shyer, quieter person,” which she believes created a perfect balance in their friendship. Their connection has been a cornerstone of their 25-year friendship, with Graham often expressing her admiration for Bledel’s acting skills and personal life.

The 2025 Emmy Awards will feature a diverse lineup of presenters, including Kristen Bell, Sofía Vergara, Walton Goggins, and Colman Domingo.

In other Emmy news, there are some notable snubs and surprises. The Handmaid’s Tale, which concluded its six-season run in May, did not receive any nominations for its final episodes. This is surprising, given that the show has accumulated 77 Emmy nominations throughout its run, winning 15 awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.

On the other hand, Martin Scorsese earned his first-ever acting nomination for a guest role in The Studio. Meanwhile, Yellowjackets and Andor’s star Diego Luna were snubbed, and Selena Gomez did not receive a nomination for Only Murders in the Building, despite the series earning eight nominations.

Apple TV+’s The Bear, starring Seth Rogen and Kathryn Hahn, received critical acclaim and 23 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Rogen.

Harrison Ford, at 83 years old, earned his first-ever Emmy nomination for his role in Shrinking in the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series category.

The HBO dramedy The Righteous Gemstones did not receive any major nominations, despite earning critical acclaim for its final season.

Glad I could clear that up for you.
