Ghost Adventures Star Aaron Goodwin Files for Divorce Amid Shocking Murder Plot Allegations

Ghost Adventures Star Aaron Goodwin Files for Divorce Amid Shocking Murder Plot Allegations
  • PublishedMarch 14, 2025

In a jaw-dropping twist worthy of a reality TV episode, Aaron Goodwin, star of the paranormal show “Ghost Adventures,” has filed for divorce from his wife, Victoria Goodwin, following her arrest on serious charges involving an alleged murder-for-hire plot. The divorce complaint, lodged in Clark County, Nevada, on March 12, reveals a tale of marital discord that has taken a sinister turn. Aaron, 48, cites irreconcilable differences, claiming that their personalities have diverged to the point of “impossible” cohabitation. He has requested no alimony, a division of community assets per Nevada law, and for his separate property to be recognized as his own.

The couple, who wed in August 2022 in a whimsical ceremony at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, seems to have had a fairytale that quickly turned into a nightmare. Interestingly, the couple’s marriage date was reported as “on or about May 4, 2020,” indicating a history that predates their public wedding announcement. The picture-perfect union has unraveled dramatically, particularly following Victoria’s arrest on March 6, where she faces charges of soliciting murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

As per police reports, Victoria allegedly communicated with a Florida inmate about her plans to kill Aaron, even discussing payment details that included an upfront fee of $2,500 and a total of over $11,500 earmarked for the grim task set for October 2024. In a chilling exchange, she reportedly questioned, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” Such revelations have sent shockwaves through the entertainment community, as friends and fans grapple with the shocking allegations.

Despite the gravity of the charges, Victoria has denied any intention to harm her husband, claiming the messages were mere fantasies about life without him. As the case unfolds, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 25, the question remains: will this be a storyline for a future season of “Ghost Adventures,” or will it serve as a cautionary tale about the dark side of love gone wrong?

As if reality TV didn’t have enough drama, this saga is a stark reminder that the line between fiction and reality can sometimes blur in the most unbelievable ways.
