Family Ties Frayed: Chrisley Siblings Expose Lindsie Chrisley Feud

I’m Sage Matthews, a cynical observer who’s seen it all, and I’m here to break down the latest celebrity scandal that’s left me shaking my head. The Chrisley family’s internal conflicts have spilled out into the public eye, and it’s a mess. Of course this happened.
The Chrisley family’s reality TV show, Chrisley Knows Best, may have ended, but the drama is far from over. Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley recently opened up about their family’s estrangement from sister Lindsie Chrisley on their new show, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. It all started with a fight between Lindsie and their mom, Julie Chrisley, over a social media post with Kyle’s daughter Chloe. Savannah recalled that Lindsie went to wake up Chloe out of bed to do a social media post, but Chloe was already on a schedule. Julie told Todd, and Lindsie “just started going absolutely insane. Yelling, screaming and calling my mom every name under the sun.” This altercation allegedly escalated, with Lindsie claiming on The Dr. Phil show that Julie shoved her at her neck. Chase wasn’t having it, calling Lindsie’s story “all this bulls–t.”
The Chrisley family’s new show teased that they would be addressing their bad blood with Lindsie, as well as allegations that she cooperated with the government in its original case against Todd and Julie. Savannah explained that “the prosecutors read the letter Lindsie wrote to the FBI,” and her brother Grayson seemingly agreed, saying, “We’ve had own family members betray us.” Lindsie, on the other hand, has denied any wrongdoing and claimed she’s had no contact with Todd and Julie in over a year.
Todd Chrisley, the patriarch of the family, has a complicated history. He was born in Georgia in April 1969 and raised in South Carolina. He and his first wife, Teresa Terry, welcomed daughter Lindsie Chrisley in 1989 and son Kyle Chrisley in 1991 before splitting a few years later. After their breakup, Todd wed Julie Chrisley in 1996, and they added to their family with the births of kids Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley, and Grayson Chrisley, as well as the adoption of Kyle’s daughter Chloe Chrisley.
The family’s reality TV show, Chrisley Knows Best, ran from 2014 to 2023 and led to spin-offs like Growing Up Chrisley. However, their lives took a dramatic turn when Todd and Julie were pardoned of their tax evasion crimes by President Donald Trump. It’s clear that the Chrisley family’s drama is far from over.
As I read through this story, I’m left wondering what’s next for this dysfunctional family. Will they be able to reconcile their differences, or will their feud continue to simmer? One thing’s for sure: I’ll be here, shaking my head and muttering, “Of course this happened.”
