Drake Sets the Record Straight: No Plastic Surgery for Those Chiseled Abs

Drake recently took to Bobbi Althoff’s Not This Again podcast to shut down speculation that he underwent an abdominal etching procedure to achieve those chiseled abs. “No,” he told Althoff point-blank, after she brought up the rumors. While he acknowledged that people do get work done “all the time,” he insisted that he’s not one of them.
But that’s not all – Drake also addressed the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) rumors that have been circulating since 2024. “People also say that I got a BBL,” he said, referencing the popular procedure. “They call me ‘BBL Drizzy.'”
So, what sparked these rumors in the first place? It all started with a shirtless selfie that raised some eyebrows. Drake admitted that he did use Facetune to edit the photo, but that’s about it. “I came from the gym, I was sweaty in that pic,” he explained. “Maybe I heightened the saturation or something on it.”
It’s worth noting that Drake isn’t the only celebrity to address plastic surgery rumors. Travis Barker’s daughter, Kylie, has been open about her use of lip fillers but denies having cosmetic surgery. Meanwhile, celebrities like Kristen Stewart and Chrissy Teigen have spoken out about embracing their natural beauty and rejecting plastic surgery.
In fact, Stewart told Harper’s Bazaar U.K. in 2015 that she’ll “never” get plastic surgery, citing her fear of “vandalism.” Teigen, on the other hand, took to Instagram to share her 58-year-old face, sans fillers, Botox, or surgery. “This is a 58 year old face… I have chosen not to put anything ‘into’ my face,” she wrote.
As for Jennifer Lawrence, she’s been vocal about her concerns regarding plastic surgery. The Pitch Perfect alum admitted she’s never gotten any cosmetic injectables, telling People in 2023, “I’ve never put a needle in my face. And by the way, most people do it and truly, there’s no judgement. But I make my living with my face.”
Drake also opened up about his fitness routine, revealing that he and his 7-year-old son Adonis love to work out in the gym together. “He has an eight-pack, it’s crazy,” Drake told Althoff. “He’s just way more locked in than like I ever was or ever will be.”
