Delco Defecator’s Plea Bid Hits a Wall

Delco Defecator’s Plea Bid Hits a Wall
  • PublishedMay 21, 2025

Looks like Christina Solometo’s plan to wipe away her hood-pooping fiasco is going down the drain faster than, well, you know. The 28-year-old Delaware County woman who made headlines for her not-so-elegant “gift” on a neighbor’s car hood in Darby Township back in January has officially hit a legal snag. Her attorney filed a motion on May 20, 2025, aiming to get the summary harassment and indecent exposure charges tossed or steered into a diversion program. But the prosecution isn’t having it, and the judge has set a hearing for June 15, 2025, to decide whether Solometo’s plea deal should stay in the gutter.

According to court filings obtained from Delaware County Court Records and confirmed by TMZ, the district attorney’s office argues the incident wasn’t a one-off “mental health lapse,” as Solometo’s lawyer claims. Instead, they’re pointing to bodycam footage from the Darby Township Police Department showing Solometo calmly unzipping and delivering the unwanted present to a stunned driver around midday on January 12. ABC News Philadelphia reports prosecutors insist it was a deliberate act that “crossed the line” from prank to public health hazard—hardly the profile of someone eligible for a quick diversion program.

Meanwhile, TMZ spoke with an inside source who says Solometo’s camp is banking on her lack of a prior criminal record and alleged anxiety disorder to sway the judge. Her lawyer has argued that a full trial would be “unduly traumatic” and that Solometo is already facing “significant public humiliation” thanks to the viral video that racked up millions of views on TikTok and Twitter. But prosecutors say legal precedent in Pennsylvania doesn’t allow for mental-health leniency in cases of wilful public defecation—especially when local businesses are now demanding compensation for lost customers who refuse to drive by the “infamous” driveway.

Adding insult to injury, a second incident is reportedly under review. Sources close to the Darby Township PD, speaking to People Magazine, hint that Solometo may have performed a nearly identical stunt a week earlier on a different street, though charges haven’t been filed yet. If that surfaces at the June hearing, her plea-deal prospects could go from bad to downright catastrophic.

At this point, it’s a toss-up whether the judge will grant the defense’s diversion request or let Solometo face a bench trial where the spotlight—and the smell—won’t be so easily scrubbed away. Keep an eye on Delaware County legal updates because this saga is far from over.

And that’s your daily dose of legal circus. You’re welcome.
