Alright, let’s cut to the chase: Christina Haack is unfazed after HGTV dropped two of her series from the 2025 lineup. The home renovation star took to Instagram on July 20 to share a lighthearted post just hours after network executives confirmed Christina on the Coast and The Flipping El Moussas would not return.

In her cheeky caption, Haack wrote, “Canceled looks good on me… Only kidding, only kidding,” alongside a candid snapshot of her three children. Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, whom she shares with ex Tarek El Moussas, and Hudson, 5, her son with former spouse Ant Anstead, appeared beaming under the California sun. The message made it clear that summer with her kids remains her top priority.

Despite the cancellations, Haack is not slowing down. The reality star has been enjoying picnics, backyard barbecues and plenty of laughter at the pool. Several additional photos in her Instagram Story featured her boyfriend Christopher Larocca joining in the fun, proving she has ample support off camera (source: Instagram, E! News).

While Christina on the Coast – which followed Haack as she redesigned luxury homes on the Pacific shoreline – is officially off air, fans can still catch her next renovation challenge. HGTV recently announced that The Flip Off, the competition series pairing Haack with ex Tarek and his wife Heather, received a season two renewal. The show pivoted in early 2024 after Haack’s divorce from Josh Hall, transforming the contest into a solo-versus-couple format.

Haack told Jennifer Hudson on her daytime talk program that she prefers flying solo on camera. “It is so much easier without somebody else weighing me down,” Haack explained in January. “I don’t have to ask for approval – I call the shots. I think that gives me a real advantage.” Her candid admission underscored why the revised concept resonated with both viewers and producers (source: Jennifer Hudson Show).

Off screen, the reality star has also seen a brighter domestic horizon. During a March episode of Christina on the Coast, Haack reflected on life after her split from Hall. “The house feels lighter, the kids are thriving, and I have more peace,” she said. “Everyone in this household is doing great.” That sense of calm appears to carry over into her social media updates, where she emphasizes family, friendship and fresh starts.

Looking beyond Haack, HGTV’s lineup has seen a mix of renewals and cancellations heading into next year. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will sign off in May 2026, while Netflix favorites like King of Collectibles and The Ultimatum are gearing up for new seasons. HGTV devotees can mark their calendars for The Flip Off season two, arriving later in 2025.

And there you have it: Christina Haack may have lost two shows, but she’s already gearing up for the next chapter – on screen and off. Stay tuned for more twists in your favorite makeover sagas.
