Cardi B Fires Back at Pregnancy Rumors with Offset and Stefon Diggs

Hello there, I’m Jordan Collins, and I’ll be guiding you through the latest celebrity gossip. I *guess* I can simplify this for you, but try to keep up. Cardi B recently confronted a journalist outside a Los Angeles courtroom about speculation that she is pregnant with baby No. 4 amid her divorce from estranged husband Offset and her romance with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
On September 2, the “I Like It” rapper was asked about the possible paternity of her rumored child, to which she responded by seemingly throwing a pen in the journalist’s direction and saying, “Stop disrespecting me. You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that.” The Grammy winner, who shares kids Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 11 months, with Offset, went on to accuse the press person of sexist reporting.
“Do you see women asking those types of questions to me?” she asked. “Why do you feel, as a man, you get to ask me those types of questions?” Before getting into her waiting SUV, Cardi added, “Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you [to] respect women.” This incident has sparked a lot of interest in Cardi B’s personal life, particularly her relationships with Offset and Stefon Diggs.
The “Bodak Yellow” artist’s recent court appearances relate to an ongoing lawsuit brought on by a former security guard, who alleged that Cardi assaulted her outside of a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office in 2018. While Cardi admitted to a verbal exchange with the plaintiff, she denied spitting on or scratching her as alleged in the lawsuit.
As for where she stands with Offset, he addressed the end of their marriage on his new album Kiari, rapping about moving forward from their breakup on the closing track “Move On.” “It’s about moving on peacefully,” the Migos alum told the Associated Press in August. “It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on, it’s over and done with.”
Let’s take a look back at Cardi and Offset’s relationship. The couple privately tied the knot on September 20, 2017, at home, just a few months after their relationship first began. Cardi revealed to fans months later, “We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!”
In October 2017, Offset got down on one knee at a sold-out show and proposed to Cardi with an 8-carat sparkler. Six months later, Cardi took to the SNL stage to announce she was expecting her first child with Offset. The couple celebrated their little one on the way with a fairytale baby shower that summer.
Their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, was born on July 10, 2018, and she joined Offset’s kids Jordan, Kody, and Kalea from previous relationships. Cardi said the Migos member chose the newborn’s name. “My dude named the baby,” Cardi told Ellen DeGeneres at the time. “I really like the name. Imma let him say the name since he named the baby. It’s, like, almost tricky but when it comes out, it’s like, ‘Ahh!'”
The couple seemed to be going strong, hitting the red carpet at the 2018 American Music Awards and smooching on stage at the Jingle Ball. However, just days later, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, citing irreconcilable differences.
Fast forward to the present, Cardi B is now dating Stefon Diggs, and rumors about a possible pregnancy have been circulating. While Cardi has not confirmed the rumors, she has made it clear that she will not tolerate disrespectful questions about her personal life.
Hopefully that wasn’t *too* complicated. Now you know what’s going on with Cardi B and her pregnancy rumors.
