Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham quietly renewed their wedding vows this month, three years after their lavish 2022 ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida. According to a source who spoke to E! News, “It was a beautiful evening to celebrate their love, an experience they’ll carry with them always.”
This intimate declaration comes amid reports of a simmering feud between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Tensions allegedly surfaced during the couple’s original wedding reception when Marc Anthony took the microphone to dedicate a first dance. As reported by E! News, he unexpectedly introduced Victoria Beckham as “the most beautiful woman in the room,” leaving Brooklyn visibly uncomfortable and Nicola in tears—only to pull herself together and keep the party going.
Fast-forward to May, and the newlyweds were conspicuously absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash, despite missing the Met Gala to make room in their schedules. Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper were in attendance, fueling speculation that brotherly ties may still be intact—or at least more intact than his ties to Mom and Dad.
It’s not just party politics at play. Insiders told E! News that Brooklyn and Nicola have retained legal counsel to “set the record straight” and combat persistent tabloid stories about a total family estrangement. Two months ago, another source dismissed rumors that the photographer son snubbed his family ahead of David’s newly announced knighthood as part of King Charles III’s birthday honours.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn has made it abundantly clear on social media that choosing Nicola was the “best decision ever.” In a June 23 Instagram post, he gushed over a mirror selfie with his bride, writing, “It’s been five years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me xx. Best decision ever x I love you so much.”
Of course, no Beckham wedding story is complete without fashion drama. Before tying the knot, Nicola was widely expected to wear a Victoria Beckham gown, but instead opted for Valentino Couture. In an August 2022 interview with Variety, she explained, “I was going to and I really wanted to, but VB’s atelier couldn’t do it, so I chose another dress. Nobody refused me—reports just ran wild.”
