Bebe Rexha Turns Heads at Met Gala with Christian Siriano Tulle Ensemble
Here’s me pretending I wasn’t glued to the Met Gala feed, but Bebe Rexha’s first-ever appearance at fashion’s biggest night deserves a double-tap. The “Born Again” singer, 35, stepped onto the Met Gala red carpet on May 5 in a show-stopping black tulle Christian Siriano creation, perfectly aligning with this year’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme. Between the grand tulle skirt and fishnet gloves, Rexha effortlessly fused drama and edge without trying too hard.
Digging into the details, Siriano draped her in a structured black coat that flared into a voluminous tulle train, a nod to the “Black dandy” concept spotlighted by the Metropolitan Museum’s spring 2025 exhibition. Rexha gushed to Entertainment Tonight that Siriano “always nails the assignment” and “always makes me look good,” which is saying something when your theme revolves around refined menswear tailoring as a form of identity signifier (Entertainment Tonight). A fishnet glove duo and sleek, slicked-back hair cemented her kind-of-cool, kind-of-couture moment.
This year’s Met Gala dress code—“Tailored for You”—was all about reimagining classic suiting through a modern lens. So, yes, we’re used to her fearlessness, but nothing quite screamed “fashion debut” like that black tulle moment.
Beyond the outfit, Rexha’s glow-up signals a strategic style evolution. She’s moved from neon pop princess to a more nuanced, high-fashion muse—proving she’s just as comfortable flirting with avant-garde silhouettes as she is belting out chart-toppers. And now that she’s officially a Met Gala “girly,” what’s next? Maybe a full-on couture collection collab? A Halloween look no one saw coming?
