Apple Martin Shades Gwyneth Paltrow’s Topless Cooking Clip

Honestly, I’m just here for Gwyneth Paltrow’s latest kitchen cameo turning into a mini roast fest with her daughter. On June 14, Paltrow dropped an Instagram reel showing herself whipping up a rustic Tuscan-inspired “boyfriend breakfast” complete with local butcher sausage, white beans, spinach, cherry tomatoes and eggs—all while decidedly sans shirt. Cue Apple Martin sliding into the comments with a perfectly pitched tease: “Did I steal your shirt by accident or…” Gwyneth’s response? A single crying-laughing emoji that says it all: mom can take a joke. Even Jennifer Garner got in on the fun, cheekily asking, “Can I be your boyfriend?” and earning a warm “You already are in my heart” from the Goop founder. (Source: E! News)
Apple’s playful shade isn’t exactly out of character. Last year, buzz swirled after reports of “mean girl” vibes at a Vanderbilt debutante ball—so Apple lip-synced a TikTok clap-back, mouthing, “I don’t know how anyone has a problem with us…We are two of the funniest girls,” a moment captured by Ava Crow and spread like wildfire online. But the 21-year-old also keeps it real: in an April profile for Interview magazine she admitted she’s stopped scrolling comments altogether. “Even if you see a million positive things, one thing can wreck you,” she confessed, vowing to avoid online negativity “like the plague.”
Gwyneth has been steadfast in her support of Apple and brother Moses (19), telling Vanity Fair back in March, “They’ve grown up in it—you’d be surprised how lovely, unassuming and down-to-earth they are.” Whether it’s a 2017 trip to the Museum of Ice Cream or a heartwarming reunion for Apple’s high school graduation in June 2022, the blended Martin-Falchuk clan keeps popping up in sweet snapshots. Just this July, Gwyneth shared a sun-drenched selfie with Brad Falchuk, Chris Martin and the kids; last Christmas morning she and Moses strolled the beach; and back in Thanksgiving 2020 she honored her late father Bruce Paltrow with a family visit to his grave.
Through it all, the Paltrow-Martin brood balances big-screen glamour with real-world vulnerability—and sometimes a dash of humorous shade in the comment section. Anyway, that’s the deal. Do with it what you will.
