Andrew Tate Agrees to 3-Year Restraining Order in Favor of Ex-Girlfriend Bri Stern

Andrew Tate Agrees to 3-Year Restraining Order in Favor of Ex-Girlfriend Bri Stern
  • PublishedSeptember 4, 2025

I’m Jaden Patel, and I’ll be guiding you through the latest update on the Andrew Tate and Bri Stern saga with a healthy dose of skepticism and dry wit. Because, let’s face it, this story has all the makings of a wild ride.

Andrew Tate, the embattled social media personality, has agreed to a court order that bars him from contacting his ex-girlfriend, model Bri Stern, or getting within 100 yards of her for the next three years. This development comes after Stern filed a police report in Beverly Hills back in March, alleging that Tate attacked her during sex. Stern later hired Texas attorney Tony Buzbee and sued Tate for sexual assault, to which Tate responded by countersuing for defamation.

According to court documents, both Tate and Stern agreed to the terms of the restraining order, which was signed by a judge in a Los Angeles courtroom. Buzbee told TMZ that the restraining order should provide sufficient protection for Stern throughout the duration of her civil case against Tate. “The restraining order entered against Mr. Tate is for a period of three years which should be sufficient to take us through the conclusion of Ms. Stern’s civil case,” Buzbee said. “Mr. Tate currently resides abroad, but the Order ensures that Ms. Stern remains protected whenever Tate does return to the United States, whether for trial or otherwise.”

Tate’s attorney, Joseph D. McBride, offered a different perspective on the matter, characterizing the agreement as a strategic move rather than a concession. “Mr. Tate made a strategic decision to stipulate to a temporary civil order without admissions of any kind,” McBride said. “The Los Angeles District Attorney has already declined to prosecute, confirming there is no criminal case. This was not a loss, but a tactical move that spares everyone an unnecessary fight in a forum that no longer matters.”

When asked about the potential outcome of the civil case, McBride seemed confident that Tate would be vindicated. “We are confident that when this case reaches a jury, Mr. Tate will be vindicated,” he said. “As for Tony Buzbee, I’ll borrow from Iron Mike Tyson: Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”

The restraining order is just the latest chapter in the ongoing saga between Tate and Stern. While Tate’s legal team appears to be focused on defending him against Stern’s allegations, Buzbee expressed eagerness to take the case to trial. “I am chomping at the bit to try this case in front of a jury,” Buzbee said. “This won’t go well for him.”

As the case continues to unfold, one thing is clear: the drama is far from over. With a restraining order in place and a civil case pending, the next few months are sure to be filled with twists and turns.

In the end, it’s a complex situation with many moving parts. But one thing’s for sure – we’ll be keeping a close eye on developments.
