Alec Baldwin, 67, and his wife Hilaria Baldwin, 41, have seven children and a knack for stirring the rumor mill. In a recent Instagram post, Hilaria shared a playful clip set to Celine Dion’s “The Power of Love,” featuring her dancing seductively on Alec’s lap before placing her feet on his chest. After she gave the cue, Alec responded by massaging her tootsies. The yoga instructor captioned the clip “Foot rub time…makes sense to me ????,” and fans dove in to warn her what typically follows foot pampering – more than just relaxation.
Comments flooded the post, with one follower quipping, “Here comes baby #8!” and another insisting, “He was looking like he was gonna make baby #8.” The speculation wasn’t totally out of left field. In February, Alec admitted to People Magazine that he’s “always asking” Hilaria for another child, confessing he thinks it’s “time to have another” once their youngest turns two. Hilaria, a mother of seven and a published author, has been candid about her physical toll, referencing in 2021 on Instagram her journey through chemical pregnancies, a miscarriage, and IVF.
Of course, the Baldwin brood and Instagram PDA aren’t the only headlines. Alec’s legal roller coaster continues to linger. He faced involuntary manslaughter charges after the tragic 2021 Rust set shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Sources such as The New York Post and People report the charges were dismissed in July 2024 when a judge ruled exculpatory evidence had been withheld. Just last month, Alec and fellow Rust producers settled a civil lawsuit with crew members who alleged emotional trauma. Despite the legal drama, Hilaria has stood by him.
Fans question why the couple, married since 2012, airs such intimate moments online. “Too much attention,” one commenter griped. Yet the Baldwins seem unfazed, continuing to share snippets of their post-tragedy life in Santa Fe and beyond. Whether the foot rub was innocent fun or a coded announcement, the internet has decided it’s a baby beacon. Meanwhile, the couple balances school runs for Carmen, 11; Rafael, 10; Leonardo, 9; Romeo, 7; twins Eduardo and Maria, 4; and Ilaria, 2, plus Alec’s eldest child, Ireland, 29, from his first marriage to Kim Basinger.
