Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the young woman whose life was turned upside down by her mother’s disturbing medical manipulations and a notorious murder case, is making waves for completely different reasons these days. She just scored her driver’s license and let’s just say, she’s revved up for the next chapter of her life – one that includes some minor hiccups behind the wheel. In an Instagram Reel that shows her beaming from the driver’s seat, the reality star, now 33, thanked her loyal fans for their encouragement while she navigated this milestone. “I am now, officially, a Louisiana driver!” she declared proudly. Gypsy Rose recorded the adventure en route to Dollar General to snag supplies for her and her baby, Aurora.
While she may be navigating parenthood – a whole new type of road – she admitted her driving skills need a tad bit of work. Gypsy Rose confessed that while the driving test itself was a breeze, she’s still fine-tuning her parking and lane changes, often pulling into spots a bit too fast for comfort. But hey, don’t we all have those moments when we don’t quite nail that parallel parking? No worries, Gypsy – practice makes perfect!
This exciting news comes just a couple of months after welcoming her baby girl with partner Ken Urker on December 28, 2022, marking a significant turnaround in her life after years of being under her mother’s suffocating control. In fact, she was released from prison just a year prior to her daughter’s birth, making every new experience feel like pure freedom. Gypsy Rose recently declared her commitment to keep her daughter’s photos off social media, opting for more privacy as a new mom. “She definitely loves to cuddle. She’s a cuddle bug,” Gypsy said, capturing the tender moments of motherhood that only a few get to see.
