Jennifer Tilly Spills Tea on Social Media Slip-Ups with Dorit Kemsley
In a recent chat with Andy Cohen, Jennifer Tilly opened up about her relationship with “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley, dismissing rumors of a feud sparked by a social media unfollow. Speaking candidly, Tilly reassured fans that their relationship is drama-free, stating, “Dorit’s going through a really hard time,” and suggested that her absence on Instagram may have led to the misconception that she wasn’t supportive of new “friends of” like Tilly herself.
Despite the social media absence, Tilly couldn’t resist tossing a witty jab about Dorit’s notorious fashion flub at a recent party. The RHOBH star had infamously opted out of wearing a caftan, claiming, “I don’t look good in caftans, so I’d rather wear Dior.” Tilly pointed out the irony in Dorit thinking she read “caviar” but ignoring the “caftans” part of the invitation, playfully critiquing her reading comprehension. Who could have imagined a nighttime soirée could shake things up so much?
But the drama didn’t stop there. Tilly further weighed in on the recent eyebrow-raising comments made by fellow cast member Sutton Stracke, who suggested that Dorit’s “wallet” was considerably heftier than her own. Sutton’s remark led to a bit of a kerfuffle among the housewives, with Jennifer coming to her friend’s defense. “It was a terrible thing to say, and she admitted it,” Jennifer noted, adding that Sutton looked genuinely upset after making the comment.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time fans have witnessed financial rivalries among the housewives; wealth comparisons have been a recurring theme throughout the franchise.
