Sam Hunt and Wife Welcome Baby No. 3: Meet Weyman Allen Hunt

Sam Hunt and Wife Welcome Baby No. 3: Meet Weyman Allen Hunt
  • PublishedJuly 8, 2025

Nothing screams “time for another headcount” quite like adding baby No. 3 to the roster. Country crooner Sam Hunt and his patient-by-proxy wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, quietly ushered in their third child—a son named Weyman Allen Hunt—on May 21, and yes, the family’s personal census just got more interesting.

In a July 7 Taste of Country interview, a sleep-deprived-sounding Sam, 40, confirmed the news: “They’re good. A little sleep deprived.” If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to survive on cheerios and concert adrenaline, you’ve just found your answer. Their firstborn, Lucy Louise, is 3; next comes Lowry Lee, 2; and now, Weyman Allen, tipping the scales at a healthy 8 lbs., 6 oz. and stretching 20.5 inches—details graciously provided by Cedartown First Methodist Church in a May 21 Facebook post.

It turns out more kids don’t necessarily equal more cuddly infants. Hunt admitted that while Lucy and Lowry were serene little bundle-of-joy prototypes, Weyman opted for a solo act. “He likes to beat to his own drum,” Sam quipped, perfect fodder for that inevitable toddler birthday party playlist. One can only imagine the guest list drama when the third child insists on his own cake flavor—vegan kale chiffon, naturally.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, deviated from their usual social-media-birth-announcement shtick and let the Georgia congregation have the honors this time. Maybe they figured at third glance, people will actually believe they’re doing this on purpose. Meanwhile, fans and reporters are left scrolling through church bulletins as if they’re VIP passes to peak celebrity baby-watching.

Among the bedtime negotiations, Sam is drawing up business plans for world domination: “I’m hopefully, in the next couple years, going to take a break from touring,” he revealed on Audacy’s Katie & Company podcast last November. Translation: expect more hits like “Body Like a Back Road” performed in your living room—if you can wrangle toddler #3 at your hip.

Let’s not forget, this baby boom is a trend. From Tim Tebow’s first daughter to Kate Upton and Justin Verlander’s Bellamy Brooks, celebrity nurseries nationwide are serving as the new star-studded VIP lounges. It’s like Woodstock for cribs and wetsuit onesies. But the Hunt household has raised the bar on logistics: three car seats, triple bedtime stories, and a lifetime supply of coffee dispensers buried in the backyard, presumably.

So here’s to Weyman Allen Hunt: may his nap schedule one day rival those of his easier predecessors. And to the rest of us, tune in next time for more spit-up drama and toddler costume meltdowns—because nothing says “family goals” quite like juggling a tour bus and a triple stroller. Humanity at its finest.
