Michelle Young Ties the Knot: The Bachelorette Alum’s Whirlwind Wedding to Jack Leius

Michelle Young Ties the Knot: The Bachelorette Alum’s Whirlwind Wedding to Jack Leius
  • PublishedJune 12, 2025

Oh joy, another celebrity wedding to dissect. Because, clearly, the world was missing a detailed breakdown of Michelle Young’s nuptials to Jack Leius. As a grumpy guru, I’ll begrudgingly share the tea, but don’t expect me to be all smiles about it.

Michelle Young, the Bachelorette alum who got engaged to Nayte Olukoya back in 2021 before their highly publicized split in 2022, has finally found love again. And by “love,” I mean a man who can apparently tolerate her. She married Jack Leius on June 7 in their home state of Minnesota, because who doesn’t love a good Midwestern wedding? The ceremony took place in a beautiful, glass-walled atrium, surrounded by woodland, because nature is trendy and all that.

The happy couple decided to play a game of rock-paper-scissors at the altar to determine who would read their vows first. Because, you know, that’s exactly what you want to do on your wedding day – play a children’s game with your partner. Michelle’s dress was custom-designed by Anne Bare, because who needs a simple, off-the-rack gown when you can have a bespoke monstrosity? And Jack wore a classic black tuxedo from SuitShop, because he’s a man of simple tastes.

In an interview with People, Michelle gushed about her wedding day, saying, “It’s been a whirlwind of emotions and our cheeks may get stuck from smiling so big.” Oh, how cute. And Jack, the athletics company VP, praised Michelle’s “contagious smile and laugh” and her ability to navigate life with confidence. Because, clearly, that’s all it takes to make a successful marriage – a good smile and some confidence.

The reception featured a family-style meal, because who needs individual plates when you can just pass a big ol’ bowl of food around the table? And instead of a traditional wedding cake, they opted for a dessert table with cheesecake, key lime pie, tiramisu, and butterscotch panna cotta. Because, you know, variety is the spice of life.

As for their future plans, Michelle and Jack have decided to “stay side-by-side the entire evening,” because they clearly don’t want to experience the joy of mingling with their guests. And who can blame them? I mean, who wants to talk to a bunch of random people when you can just stick with your partner?

In related news, other celebrities have been tying the knot left and right. Jack Wagner and Michelle Wolf got married in a private ceremony, Hailee Steinfeld married Josh Allen in a stunning California wedding, and Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar exchanged vows in a “cute little chapel” in Texas. Because, clearly, 2025 is the year of love or something.

And that, dear reader, is why we can’t have nice things – because Michelle Young and Jack Leius are now married, and we have to deal with all the drama that comes with it. Did anyone expect a different outcome? No? Thought so.
